- 2 cans water chestnuts or 1 lb. scallops, sliced or whole
- 1 lb. bacon
- brown sugar
Directions

1Cut bacon strips in halves and wrap around 1/2 water chestnut or 2 to 3 slices water chestnuts.

2Secure with a toothpick.

3Place in a single layer on a large cookie sheet or baking tray and sprinkle 1 teaspoon brown sugar on each piece.

4Bake at 400° until bacon is crisp or broil 5 to 10 minutes until browned.

5Drain on paper towel and serve warm.
