- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. powdered milk
- 3 c. white bread flour
- 1/4 c. whole wheat flour
- 1 Tbsp. active dry yeast
- 2 qt. water
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 egg, beaten (topping)
Directions

1Mix together first 8 ingredients and allow to rise.

2Then cut dough into 12 pieces.

3Roll each piece into a ball.

4Make a 1-inch hole in the center of each ball, using a floured finger to form a ring shape.

5Cover and let rise in a warm place for 20 minutes.
