- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 6 Tbsp. olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 (2 oz. each) cans flat anchovy fillets, chopped
Directions

1In a small saucepan, heat butter, olive oil and garlic.

2Keep warm over very low heat for 5 minutes.

3Add anchovies.

4Increase heat until mixture begins to simmer.

5Do not boil.

6Stir until anchovies have disintegrated.

7Add 2 tablespoons of sour cream before serving.

8Transfer to a small flameproof bowl.

9Stir in parsley (optional).

10Use any fresh vegetables for dipping.
