  • apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. (level) nutmeg
  • margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. flour (scant)
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 3 Tbsp. shortening
  • 1/2 c. milk

Directions

    Place peeled and sliced apples in casserole baking dish.

    Cover with sugar and nutmeg.

    Dot butter on top.

    Mix flour, baking powder, shortening and milk.

    Spread this over apples.

    Bake at 350° for 1/2 hour or until done.
