- 1 apple per person
- 1 cube sugar or 1 tsp. sugar per apple
- 1 Tbsp. butter for 4 apples
- 3 Tbsp. water for 4 apples
- 1/2 Tbsp. currant or prune jelly per apple
Directions

1Wash apples; remove core and peel.

2Place in deep Pyrex casserole.

3In center of each apple, place 1 cube sugar or 1 teaspoon sugar, butter (size of a nut), 1/2 tablespoon jelly of choice and small amount water.

4Cook for approximately 1/2 hour at 250°.

5Remove from oven; let cool.

6Decorate with red jelly.
