  • 1 c. green lima beans, drained
  • 1 c. white lima beans, drained (butter beans)
  • 1 c. kidney beans, drained
  • 2 c. pork and beans (not drained)
  • 1/2 lb. bacon
  • 6 to 8 large onions, cut into rings
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 3/4 to 1 c. brown sugar

    Brown bacon; remove and crumble.

    Add onion rings to bacon drippings along with garlic.

    Cook until transparent.

    Add other sauce ingredients.

    Simmer 20 minutes.
