Ingredients

  • 2 (16 oz.) cans pork and beans
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 c. catsup
  • 2 Tbsp. molasses
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1/2 c. dark brown sugar
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 10 oz. pkg. franks
  • 1 clove, chopped
  • 1 tsp. instant coffee

Directions

    Saute onion and garlic in margarine until tender.

    Cut franks into bite size.

    Place into 2-quart baking dish.

    Mix together all other ingredients except bacon.

    Arrange bacon slices on top of beans.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour 15 minutes.
