Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz.) can kidney or red beans, drained
  • 1 (16 oz.) can green lima beans, drained
  • 1 (16 oz.) can butter beans, drained
  • 2 (16 oz.) cans pork and beans (not drained)
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 4 large onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 lb. diced bacon, fried crisp

    Mix all beans together.

    Set aside.

    Simmer 15 minutes over low heat vinegar and brown sugar, stirring occasionally.

    Brown bacon.

    Remove bacon from grease.

    Set aside.

    Add to grease (use your own judgment) onions, garlic powder and mustard.

    Brown lightly.

    Mix all ingredients.

    Put in casserole dish.

    Bake 1 hour at 350°, uncovered.
