  • 1 lb. dry small navy beans
  • 1 tsp. prepared yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 6 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. molasses
  • 1/2 lb. chopped bacon
  • 1 chopped onion

Directions

    Soak beans overnight.

    Drain.

    Place all ingredients in roaster.

    Add warm water to cover.

    Bake in slow oven (300°) until beans are tender and most of liquid is absorbed, 3 to 4 hours.
