Ingredients

  • 40 oz. can pork and beans, 1/2 liquid drained off
  • 1/2 large green pepper, chopped finely
  • 1 c. sorghum
  • 1/2 c. yellow mustard
  • 1/2 c. dried onion
  • 1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 slices bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces

Directions

    Put all ingredients but bacon in big baking pan. Stir, then adjust sorghum, Worcestershire and mustard to taste.

    Add bacon pieces. Stir them in. Bake at 350° for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until cooked down but not dry.
