  • 1 1/2 lb. dried beans (yellow eyes or Great Northern)
  • 1 lb. salt pork
  • 3/4 c. molasses
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. dry mustard
  • pinch of salt

Directions

    Wash beans, discarding imperfect ones.

    Cover with cold water. Soak overnight.

    In the morning, drain; add more water and bring to a boil.

    Reduce heat and simmer 3/4 hour.

    Drain.
