- 1 (12 oz.) can pork and beans
- 1/2 lb. bacon, cut into 1-inch strips
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 tsp. salt (optional)
- 3 Tbsp. mustard
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. molasses
- 3 Tbsp. ketchup
Directions

1Place all ingredients, except bacon, in a large bowl.

2Lightly grease a 2-quart baking dish.

3Cover bottom of dish with bacon strips.

4Pour 1/2 bean mixture in dish.

5Cover with layer of bacon strips.

6Add remaining beans; top with any bacon left over.

7Bake in a preheated oven at 425° for about 40 minutes, or until bacon is done.
