- 1 medium head cabbage, shredded
- 8 slices bacon, fried
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 pt. tomato cheese
- 2 slices toast, cubed
Directions

1Cook cabbage in boiling salt water until tender.

2Turn off heat and let stand 1 minute; then drain.

3Fry bacon until crisp.

4Cook onion in bacon grease until tender.

5Mix all ingredients, reserving 4 slices of bacon.

6Pour into baking dish.

7Crumble and sprinkle remaining bacon on top.

8Bake 30 to 40 minutes at 350°.
