- 2 sticks oleo
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. corn syrup (light or dark)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. salted peanuts
- 6 qt. popcorn, popped
Directions

1Melt butter.

2Stir in brown sugar, syrup and salt.

3Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.

4Remove from heat.

5Stir in baking soda and vanilla.

6Gradually pour over popped corn and peanuts.

7Mix well with greased hands.

8Turn into 2 large shallow pans.

9Bake at 250° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.

10Remove from oven. Cool.

11Break apart and store in covered containers.
