- 1 c. margarine
- 2 c. brown sugar (packed)
- 1/2 c. corn syrup
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 6 qt. popped corn
Directions

1Melt butter in 2-quart saucepan.

2Stir in sugar, corn syrup and salt.

3Heat to boiling.

4Boil, stirring, for 5 minutes. Remove from heat.

5Stir in soda and vanilla.

6Pour gradually over popped corn, mixing well.

7Turn into large shallow baking pans. Bake in 250° oven for 1 hour.

8Stir every 15 minutes.

9Remove from oven and cool completely.

10Break apart.

11Store in lightly covered containers.
