- 3 qt. freshly popped corn
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Combine popcorn and pecans in lightly greased 15 x 10 x 1-inch jelly roll pan.

2Mix well; set aside.

3Melt butter; add brown sugar, corn syrup and salt.

4Boil 5 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat.

5Stir in soda and vanilla.

6Pour syrup over corn, stirring to coat corn and nuts.

7Bake at 300° for 30 minutes, stirring after 15 minutes.

8Cool completely and break apart.

9Store in airtight container.
