Baked Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 cut up chicken (I like 8 to 10 thighs)
  • 1 1/4 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/4 c. water

Directions

    Dip chicken in 1/2 cup milk; roll in flour and salt.

    Melt butter in a 13 x 9-inch Pyrex pan in a 425° oven.

    Put chicken in pan, skin side down.

    Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes.

    Turn chicken and pour over it a mixture of soup, 3/4 cup milk and the water.

    Bake 30 minutes longer or until tender.

    Remove chicken. Scrape pan, adding regular milk to make gravy.

    Serve with chicken.
