- 4 to 6 pieces chicken
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. cracker crumbs
- salt, pepper and garlic powder
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 onion, sliced
- oil
- 1/2 c. water
Directions

1Beat egg with milk and set aside.

2Wash and remove skin from chicken; season with salt, pepper and garlic powder.

3Dredge in flour, one piece at a time.

4Dip in egg mixture and then in cracker crumbs.

5Brown in hot oil (about 1 inch in pan) until golden brown.

6Peel and slice onion; put in bottom of baking pan. Layer browned chicken on top of onion slices.

7Pour the water in the pan and cover pan with foil.

8Bake at 375° for about 1/2 hour. Remove foil and bake for 15 more minutes.
