Baked Chicken Dish

  • 1 c. regular rice (uncooked)
  • 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 pieces chicken (I usually remove skin)

Directions

    Butter a 9 x 13-inch dish.

    Place the dry rice into baking dish. Mix together the dry soup mix, cream of chicken soup, water, salt and pepper.

    Pour mixture over rice; stir to mix well.

    Add chicken.

    Cover tightly with foil.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Uncover and bake 15 minutes more.
