  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. milk, scalded
  • nutmeg

    Combine eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla.

    Mix well.

    Gradually add milk, stirring all the time.

    Pour in custard cups.

    Place cups in a baking pan of hot water.

    Sprinkle nutmeg on top.

    Bake at 325° for 45 minutes or until a knife inserted comes out clean. Cool.
