  • 3 bay leaves
  • 1/2 c. onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 c. olive oil
  • 3 c. hot water
  • 1 c. wine vinegar
  • 1 c. teriyaki sauce
  • 4 or 5 slices bacon
  • 4 or 5 potatoes
  • 1 c. celery
  • 1 c. carrots
  • 1 large onion
  • 4 Tbsp. cornstarch
