- 1 3/4 lb. fish (any solid flesh)
- salt and pepper
- 1/2 c. oil
- 2 to 3 whole tomatoes, chopped
- 2 ribs celery
- 1 large onion, sliced
- garlic
- 4 to 5 potatoes, sliced
- juice of 1/2 lemon
Directions

1Wash fish, add salt and pepper and rub with lemon juice.

2Saute onion, add tomatoes, garlic and celery.

3Simmer.

4Blend well.

5Add potatoes and simmer for 10 minutes more.

6Lightly oil baking pan. Place fish in pan and pour tomato-potato mixture over fish.

7Add 1/2 cup water and cover.

8Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
