Ingredients
- 3 pounds halibut cut into 6 serving pieces, 3/4 inch thick
- 1 x salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 each garlic cloves minced
- 1/4 cup parsley leaves minced fresh
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs seasoned
- 4 each lemons sliced, (2 thinly sliced for garnish)
- 1 tablespoon butter
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375F (190C).

2Sprinkle both sides of fish with salt and pepper and paprika.

3Place fish in a buttered shallow baking dish and sprinkle with garlic, parsley and breadcrumbs.

4Place lemon slices on fish and add water almost to top of fish.

5Bake uncovered 20 to 30 minutes until fish is firm and crumbs are golden brown.

6Remove lemon slices, dot with butter and place under broiler until browned.

7Garnish with thin lemon slices.

8Serves 6.
