Baked Ham Concord

Ingredients

  • 1 ham
  • 2 onions
  • 1 dash cinnamon
  • 1 dash cloves
  • 1 dash allspice
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. grape juice
  • 1 c. bread crumbs

Directions

    Cover ham with water and add cloves, cinnamon, onions and allspice.

    Simmer slowly for 20 minutes per pound of ham.

    Remove any skin and cut fat in a crisscross design.

    Put ham in roasting pan and cover with mixture of bread crumbs and brown sugar.

    Bake 5 minutes in a 450° oven.

    Reduce heat to 300° and baste with grape juice every few minutes.

    Bake 18 minutes per pound at 300°.
