- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 bay leaf, crumbled
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- fresh Lake Trout
- 1/4 c. bread crumbs
Directions

1Melt butter and stir in flour to make a paste.

2Place 3 slices of bacon in bottom of pan; cover with onion and crumbled bay leaf. Place fish on top.

3Spread flour paste and butter on fish; sprinkle on bread crumbs and place remaining bacon, sliced, on top.

4Bake 35 to 45 minutes at 375°.
