Baked Lima Beans

  • 1 lb. dry lima beans
  • 2 Tbsp. catsup
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 8 or 10 bacon strips
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 small can tomatoes

    Soak beans overnight.

    Put to boil in fresh salted water until tender.

    Drain.

    Add tomatoes, salt and pepper, catsup, sugar and vinegar.

    Put in a 9 x 13-inch Pyrex baking dish.

    Cover with strips.

    Bake 1 hour at 325°.
