  • liver (beef or pork)
  • salt
  • 1/4 c. shortening
  • flour
  • onion slices

    For beef or pork liver, cut in serving size pieces.

    Dip 3 or 4 times in very hot water.

    Salt to taste and roll in flour.

    Melt shortening in a heavy skillet.
  5. 5
    Place liver in skillet. Put an onion slice on each piece. Bake at 375° until tender and brown. Turn over.
