- 4 ripe freestone peaches
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. finely chopped almonds
- 6 Italian almond macaroons such as Amaretto, crushed
- 1 Tbsp. almond liqueur such as Amaretto
- 1 egg yolk
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Cut peaches in half from stem to root end.

3Give a little twist to free one side from pit.

4Gently twist pit from peach half (discard).

5Place peach halves, cut side up, in 10-inch baking dish greased with butter.
