  • 4 ripe freestone peaches
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. finely chopped almonds
  • 6 Italian almond macaroons such as Amaretto, crushed
  • 1 Tbsp. almond liqueur such as Amaretto
  • 1 egg yolk

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Cut peaches in half from stem to root end.
  3. 3
    Give a little twist to free one side from pit.
  4. 4
    Gently twist pit from peach half (discard).
  5. 5
    Place peach halves, cut side up, in 10-inch baking dish greased with butter.
