Baked Pears

- 1/4 c. finely chopped dried apricots
- 1/4 c. finely chopped pecans
- 4 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 large ripe pears
- 1/4 c. maple syrup
Directions

1In a small bowl, combine apricots and pecans.

2Use fork to mash 1 tablespoon margarine into fruit.

3Set aside.

4Cut pears in half. Dip out core, leaving 1/2-inch hole in each piece.

5Place in a 9-inch square baking dish.

6Fill each pear with apricot mixture. In measuring cup:

7place syrup and remaining 3 tablespoons of margarine, melted.

8Microwave until pears are tender.

9Baste at least once.

10(Or bake in conventional oven.)
