- butter
- cooking wine

Directions

1Wash quail.

2Put in bag with flour that salt and pepper have been added to; shake.

3Brown in skillet with butter.

4Place browned quail in roasting pan.

5Add a pat of butter on top of each quail.

6Pour cooking wine over quail.

7Add water as needed to pan. Cook at 350° for 1 1/4 hours.

8This is good served with brown rice.
