- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. (rounded) rice
- 1 qt. whole milk
- 1/2 to 1 tsp. salt
- vanilla to taste
- nutmeg to taste
Directions

1Put milk, rice, and salt in bowl and bake at 350° until almost thick.

2Then stir in sugar and vanilla.

3Bake few minutes longer. Raisins may be added if desired.

4Total baking time will be 2-3 hours; rice needs to be stirred every 15-20 minutes while baking.
