- 1/4 to 1/2 c. vermicelli, broken in pieces
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 1/2 c. long grain rice
- 1 cube margarine
- 1 can consomme
- 1 can water
- 1 chicken bouillon cube
- 1 tsp. salt
- pepper to taste
- parsley, onion, almonds (optional)
Directions

1Brown vermicelli in oil.

2Brown rice in margarine.

3Add consomme, water and bouillon cube.

4Salt and pepper.

5Put in casserole.

6Cover and bake 2 hours at 350°.

7Serve with meat of your choice.
