Baked Rice

  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1 c. long grain rice
  • 2 c. chicken broth
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter

Directions

    Preheat oven to 375°.

    Saute chopped onion in butter until translucent.

    Add and stir well until coated the rice (not instant, I use Uncle Ben's).

    Add boiling chicken broth or boiling salted water.

    Cover and bake for about 18 minutes.

    Gently mix with the rice the melted butter.
  7. 7
    Serve the rice at once.
