Baked Scallop

  • 2 lb. Maine scallops
  • 2 c. cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 c. melted margarine
  • 1/4 c. catsup (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. sugar
  • dash of lemon pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. butter

Directions

    Cut large scallops in half.

    Combine scallops, cracker crumbs, margarine, catsup, salt, sugar and lemon pepper.

    Place in shallow 1 1/2-quart casserole or other serving dish.

    Drizzle top with butter.

    Bake in moderate oven at 350° for 25 minutes.

    Sprinkle with paprika.

    Place under broiler if needed to brown.
