  • 1 lb. scallops
  • 1/4 to 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 c. crushed cracker crumbs (Ritz or Town House)
  • salt and pepper

    Crush crackers.

    Add salt and pepper.

    Melt butter in a 9 x 9-inch baking dish in a 350° oven.

    Take baking dish from oven. Roll scallops in melted butter, then cracker crumbs.

    Return scallops to baking dish.

    After all scallops have been buttered and crumb-coated, return to oven and bake 15 to 20 minutes.
