- 4 lb. whole snapper or snapper steaks
- 1/2 c. olive oil
- 4 onions, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 bunch celery, chopped
- 1 small bell pepper, chopped
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 4 fresh tomatoes, quartered
- 1 c. water
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Put all ingredients except fish in a large skillet and cook until tender.

2Place fish in a baking pan and add a little extra olive oil over the fish, then pour the prepared ingredients over top of the fish.

3Bake 45 minutes.
