Baked Spaghetti

  • 8 oz. spaghetti
  • 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef or turkey
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 1 (28 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 8 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 c. milk (not evaporated)
  • 1 (4 oz.) can mushroom pieces, not drained

Directions

    Cook spaghetti as directed on package and drain.

    Saute meat and onion in a skillet, breaking meat into small pieces, until meat is brown.

    Drain.

    Stir meat into spaghetti sauce; add garlic and oregano.

    Combine with spaghetti; add milk, cheeses and mushrooms. Mix well and pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

    Bake at 350° for 30 to 45 minutes or until bubbly and just beginning to brown around edges.
