- 1 lb. ground beef or chuck
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
- 1 large can tomatoes, crushed
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 12 oz. pkg. thin spaghetti (raw, not cooked)
- 12 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Cook meat and stir occasionally, until meat loses its red color.

2Drain grease and add salt and pepper and tomatoes. Simmer, covered, for 30 minutes. Add 1/2 cup water.

3Break 1/2 spaghetti and pour 1/2 of sauce, 1/2 of cheese, then repeat. Bake, covered, for 35 minutes at 325°, then uncover and bake 15 minutes more or until brown.

4Don't overbake or it will be dry. Delicious!
