Baked Spaghetti

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef or chuck
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 large can tomatoes, crushed
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 12 oz. pkg. thin spaghetti (raw, not cooked)
  • 12 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Cook meat and stir occasionally, until meat loses its red color.

    Drain grease and add salt and pepper and tomatoes. Simmer, covered, for 30 minutes. Add 1/2 cup water.

    Break 1/2 spaghetti and pour 1/2 of sauce, 1/2 of cheese, then repeat. Bake, covered, for 35 minutes at 325°, then uncover and bake 15 minutes more or until brown.

    Don't overbake or it will be dry. Delicious!
