Baked Spaghetti

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. spaghetti
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
  • 1 pt. tomato juice
  • 1 (8 oz.) tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 to 2 c. grated Longhorn cheese according to taste

Directions

    Cook spaghetti in boiling water until tender and drain.

    Cook onion and pepper in oil until tender.

    Add tomato, salt, pepper and sugar.

    Cook for 10 minutes.

    Remove from heat and mix with spaghetti.

    Add 1/2 of cheese.

    Sprinkle top with remaining cheese. Bake at 375° until cheese has melted or turns brown.
