- 6 acorn squash
- 1 c. butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp. garlic, minced
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- seasoning salt
- black pepper
- paprika
Directions

1Cut squash in half and scoop out seeds.

2Place, cut side down, in a shallow baking pan containing a little water.

3Bake in preheated 375° oven for 30 minutes.

4Mix butter, garlic and brown sugar together.

5Remove squash and baste with butter mixture. Sprinkle with seasoning salt, pepper and paprika.

6Return to oven, right side up, with water drained off.

7Cook 35 to 40 minutes, until tender.
