  • lean beef or boneless chicken breast
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. cornmeal
  • garlic salt
  • pepper
  • 1/2 c. margarine, melted
  • corn flakes and crackers, crushed and combined
  • nonstick cooking spray

Directions

    Cut beef or chicken into serving-size portions (I use cubed steaks).

    Combine flour, cornmeal and seasonings in a paper bag. Shape pieces of meat to coat.

    Dip each piece in melted margarine, then roll each in crumb and cracker mixture.

    Bake, uncovered, in a baking pan prepared with nonstick cooking spray at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes.
