  • 6 to 8 pieces cube steak or large round steak, cut into serving size portions
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 4 Tbsp. shortening
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 envelope Lipton's onion mushroom dry soup mix

Directions

    Roll steak in flour and sear in hot fat.

    Place in crock-pot. In mixing bowl, combine mushroom soup, onion soup and 1 1/2 cans of water.

    Mix well and pour over meat.

    Cook on low all day. (May also be cooked on stove in heavy skillet or in oven.)
