Baked Stuffed Quahogs

- 1 1/2 to 2 c. quahogs, chopped and drained (reserve liquor)
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 c. bread crumbs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- black pepper to taste
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 1/4 tsp. celery seed
- 1/4 tsp. onion powder
- 2 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- paprika
Directions

1Saute onions.

2Add clams and a little of the reserved liquor. Cook about 5 minutes.

3Add bread crumbs.

4If too dry, add a little more of the liquor.

5Add spices and fill greased clam shells. Blend melted butter and 1/2 cup bread crumbs and sprinkle on top. Garnish with paprika and bake 15 minutes in 400° oven or until browned.

6Makes 10 single shells.
