Baked Tomato Parmesan

Ingredients

  • 4 large tomatoes
  • parsley, dill, basil and oregano to taste
  • 4 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese, shredded
  • onion salt to taste
  • 1 c. Hellmann's mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped onion

Directions

    Halve the tomatoes; sprinkle with onion salt and herbs.

    Put tomatoes in a Pyrex dish; place in a warm oven (275° to 300°) for 5 minutes.

    Set aside and cool.

    Mix mayonnaise, onion and Parmesan cheese; spoon over tomatoes.

    Just before serving, place in oven on broil setting until puffed and lightly browned, about 3 to 5 minutes.
