Ingredients

  • 4 ripe tomatoes, cut in half
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. coarse cracker crumbs
  • 2 tsp. dried parsley
  • garlic salt
  • crushed basil

Directions

    Cut tomatoes in half; place cut side up in baking dish. Sprinkle top with garlic salt and basil.

    Melt butter in small skillet.

    Add crumbs; stir constantly.

    Spoon on top of tomatoes. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until hot.

    Makes 8 servings.
