- 1 large vine-ripe tomato, halved
- Italian-seasoned bread crumbs
- grated Parmesan cheese
- salt or garlic salt

Directions

1Preheat oven to highest setting (475° or 500°).

2Spray a shallow nonstick baking tray or cookie tin with cooking spray. Arrange the tomato halves, cut side up.

3Sprinkle each half with 1 teaspoon bread crumbs, 1 teaspoon Parmesan, salt and pepper to taste.

4Bake uncovered just until topping is browned, about 5 to 6 minutes.
