  • 1/2 cup port
  • 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 T honey
  • 1 T finely chopped fresh thyme
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped shallot
  • 2 T dijon mustard
  • 2 T olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • ground pepper to taste

    combine port, vinegar, honey, thyme and shallot in a small saucepan. Bring to boil over med high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered 5 minutes. remove and whisk in remaining ingredients. Serve war or room temp
