  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. mashed bananas
  • 1/4 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cream Crisco, sugar and eggs together.

    Add 1 cup mashed bananas, 1/4 cup buttermilk and vanilla.

    Add creamed mixture to dry ingredients.

    Mix well. Pour into two round cake pans, greased and floured. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until done.
