  • 12 cup white sugar
  • 12 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs, room temperature
  • 1 cup mashed banana
  • 12 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 12 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 12 teaspoons baking soda
  • 14 cup boiling water
  • 14 cup milk
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 12 teaspoons baking powder
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 12 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

    Pre-heat oven to 350.

    Grease a 9x9 pan and line with wax paper.

    Cream butter, adding sugars gradually.

    Beat until light and fluffy.

    Mix banana pulp and lemon juice together.

    Add eggs, banana pulp, and vanilla to butter/sugar mixture.

    Dissolve baking soda in water, add milk.

    Roll walnuts into 1/2 cup of dry ingredients.
