Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 3/4 c. vegetable oil
- 3 Tbsp. buttermilk
- 1 c. mashed bananas (about 2 large)
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325°.

2Grease and flour a loaf pan. Stir together sifted flour, soda, and salt in a mixing bowl.

3Add sugar, eggs, oil, and buttermilk.

4Stir to blend.

5Stir in bananas and walnuts.

6Pour batter into prepared pan.

7Bake for one hour and 10 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

8Cool in pan for 15 minutes.

9Remove from pan and cool on wire rack.

10Makes 8-10 servings.
